Habitat for Humanity Uganda (HFHU) is a Christian nonprofit organization established in 1982 and affiliated with Habitat for Humanity International. For over 40 years, HFHU has worked to eliminate poverty housing by building, rehabilitating, and improving more than 40,000 homes, transforming the lives of over 240,000 people.
We work with families and communities to promote:
Decent and affordable housing
Water, Sanitation, and Hygiaene (WASH)
Secure land tenure and property rights
Housing disaster resilience and recovery
Livelihood and vocational training
