• Operations Management • Oversee daily operations across all service divisions (Logistics, Engineering, and EHS). • Develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and service quality. • Manage scheduling, resource allocation, and project tracking. • Service Delivery & Quality Control • Ensure all services meet contractual, safety, and regulatory requirements. • Develop and maintain SOPs and KPIs for performance monitoring. • Conduct regular audits and operational reviews. • Client & Stakeholder Engagement • Serve as liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure satisfaction and continuity. • Support business development by contributing to proposals and operational planning for new contracts. • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders in oil & gas, energy, and manufacturing sectors. • Team Leadership & Development • Lead and support supervisors, engineers, logistics staff, EHS officers, and recruitment teams. • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and performance management of operational staff. • Promote a culture of safety, integrity, and continuous improvement. • Compliance & Safety Oversight • Ensure compliance with national and international EHS standards and local labor laws. • Promote environmental stewardship and sustainability in all operations. • Coordinate incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions. • Procurement • Manage procurement of goods and services locally and internationally. • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors. • Oversee import processes, customs clearance, and compliance with Ugandan regulations. • Maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery. • Ensure all purchases comply with company policies, national content requirements, and industry standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Procurement and Logistics, Industrial Management, Business Administration, or a related field. • 7–10 years’ experience in operations, preferably in oil & gas, manufacturing, engineering services, or logistics. • Strong knowledge of EHS practices and labour outsourcing models. • Desirable: • Postgraduate qualification or certification in Project Management or Operations Management. • Experience in contract management and business development. • Key Skills and Competencies • Strategic and critical thinking • Strong leadership and people management • Problem-solving and decision-making • Excellent communication and client-facing skills • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks • Project management and budgeting • Adaptability and innovation
