We are seeking a qualified Accountant to join our team.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, and reconcile accounts
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Ensure compliance with tax and statutory requirements
• Monitor cash flow and assist with budget preparation

 

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA Uganda / ACCA is an added advantage
• 2-5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Proficiency in Tally ERP/accounting system (mandatory)
• Strong financial reporting skills (monthly, quarterly, annual)
• Knowledge of URA compliance (VAT, PAYE, WHT, statutory filings)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience in Accounts Payable/Receivable and General Ledger
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Good communication and organizational skills
• High integrity and professionalism
