KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso-based drinks, and other beverages to customers according to Lock & Key’s standards.
• Create and serve a variety of cocktails, mixed drinks, and mocktails, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Maintain the coffee and bar stations, ensuring all equipment is well-maintained, clean, and functional.
• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, take orders, and offer personalized drink recommendations.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve concerns, and ensure a positive customer experience.
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies and checking stock levels for both the coffee and bar areas.
• Process customer transactions accurately and handle cash, credit card, or other payment methods.
• Occasionally assist with food service, ensuring orders are correctly prepared and delivered.
• Work with team members to ensure smooth operations and achieve daily service goals.
• Ensure that Lock & Key’s ambiance and service standards are consistently upheld.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
• Previous experience as a Barista, Mixologist, or in a similar role.
• Expertise in coffee preparation, espresso machines, and other coffee equipment.
• Solid knowledge of cocktail ingredients, mixing techniques, and bar equipment.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and staff.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong cleanliness and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays.
• Positive attitude and passion for coffee, beverages, and hospitality.
• Additional Skills (Preferred)
• Barista certification or relevant training.
• Knowledge of alternative milk options and specialty coffee beans.
• Experience with creating unique cocktails and developing new beverage recipes.
• Ability to create latte art or a desire to learn.
