About The Role A BI Analyst serves as the central point of expertise for business intelligence within our organization, acting as the go-to resource for PowerBI-driven reporting and analytics. This role leverages deep PowerBI proficiency to accelerate dashboard development, ensure data integrity, and drive actionable insights with a mastery of PowerBI, ready to deliver immediate value through expert-level dashboard development and analytics. Fueled by curiosity, innovation, and a strong sense of ownership, the BI Analyst proactively seeks opportunities to simplify processes, uncover insights through self-discovery, and take full responsibility for delivering high-impact solutions that exceed expectations. The BI Analyst collaborates across teams to align data visualizations with business needs, optimizes existing dashboards, performs root cause analyses, and maintains a trusted, efficient reporting ecosystem.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a BI Analyst, BI Developer, or Data Analyst, with a proven track record in dashboard development and analytics.
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing PowerBI dashboards, including complex visualizations and interactive elements.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and build trust with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Exceptional presentation abilities, capable of distilling complex data into accessible narratives for diverse audiences.
- Strategic thinker with an innovative mindset, skilled at transforming business challenges into practical, data-backed solutions.
- Creative problem-solver who thrives in dynamic environments and prioritizes accuracy and efficiency.
Required Skills
- Business Intelligence & Analytics: Proven expertise in data visualization and BI tools, with a strong focus on Microsoft PowerBI for creating dashboards that inform real-time strategic decisions.
- PowerBI Stack Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Power Query, DAX, MDX, and PowerBI Desktop, including writing and optimizing DAX queries.
- Data Handling: Technical skills in mining, cleaning, and analyzing data using databases and analytics tools.
- SQL Expertise: Strong working knowledge of SQL in relational databases and ClickHouse data warehouses, including advanced techniques like joins, window functions, CTEs, aggregations, and query optimization for large datasets.
- Programming: Solid experience with Python for data analysis, automation, and scripting is preferred.
- Collaboration and Communication: A team player who builds professional relationships across departments, with excellent skills in presenting complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in credit, lending, or financial services industries.
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts and their applications in analytics.
Success Measures (KPIs)
- Timely resolution of ad hoc requests, with demonstrated business impact (e.g., cost savings or process improvements).
- Positive stakeholder feedback on the relevance, clarity, accuracy, and usefulness of dashboards and insights.
- Increased user adoption of dashboards, measured by reduced use of offline tools like Google Sheets.
- Decrease in repetitive ad hoc requests through enhanced self-service features and proactive dashboard optimizations.
- High satisfaction scores from business teams on data usability, support quality, and overall collaboration.
- Direct contributions to key business outcomes, such as improved sales conversions or reduced loan arrears, linked to adopted insights.
