St. Mary’s Hospital Lacor is inviting suitably qualified, competent, and motivated individuals to apply for multiple open positions across our Billing and Technical departments.

1. Billing Assistant

Job Purpose:

Ensure accurate and timely billing of patients and clients, maintain proper records, and support efficient revenue collection under hospital financial procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• • Prepare and process patient bills accurately and promptly.
  • Verify billing information, charges, and payments.
  • Follow up on outstanding bills and reconcile billing discrepancies.
  • Provide professional customer service to patients and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience:

• • Diploma in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Familiarity with hospital management or accounting systems (e.g., Dynamics NAV, Clinic Master) is an advantage.

2. Technical Department Roles

We are hiring skilled trade professionals holding a certificate from an accredited training institution:

• Carpenter: Certificate in Carpentry & Joinery or equivalent.

• Plumber: Certificate in Plumbing or equivalent.

• Mason: Certificate in Building/Masonry or equivalent.

• Painter: Certificate in Painting or equivalent.

• Mechanic: Certificate in Motor Vehicle Mechanics or equivalent.

• Compound Attendant: Certificate of O level.

• General Requirements: Practical experience in the respective field, good workmanship, ability to work with minimal supervision, and willingness to work in a hospital environment. Flexibility and multi-tasking skills are an added advantage.
