Nation Media Group (NMG-U) is Uganda’s most influential media house, operating the Daily Monitor, Weekend Monitor, The EastAfrican and Ennyanda Newspapers, 93.3 KFM, 90.4 Dembe FM. NTV Uganda, Spark TV, Nation Courier Services, Digital Platforms and a variety of Events.

We are seeking qualified and experienced Business Solution Executives to source new business and service existing clients.

We encourage candidates based upcountry particularly in (Arua, Gulu, Masaka, Fortportal, Kabale).

The goal is to maximize revenue generation and collection to meet our business objectives in the entire regions, where the above districts belong.

PURPOSE:

To plan, initiate and implement Digital, Broadcast, Events and Print Communications and engagement solutions, with more focus on special projects, partnerships, highly innovative ways that deliver customer needs and satisfaction.

KEY RESULT AREAS (KRAs):

1. Deeply understand Customers’ Communication and Engagement Needs.
2. Create Concepts, Ideas, Projects, Partnerships, Programs and Events for clients.
3. Advise clients on Communication avenues across NMG-Umedia platforms.
4. Initiate Content/programs/properties/platform-based Ideas to client needs.
5. Consistently drive and deliver the set individual sales and collection targets.
6. Ensure outstanding Customer services and care on/for all NMG-U activities.
7. Ensure proper and preventative Sales contracting, Credit to avoid bad debts.
8. Provide timely Market Information, Insights and Intelligence to Management.
9. Write weekly Individual Progress, Productivity and Performance Reports.
10. Represent and reflect positive Image and
11. Impression across NMG-U Brands.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

1. Minimum of Diploma in Sales. Marketing. Business and Entrepreneurship
2. At least 1-2 years Sales Experience
3. Highly Dynamic and Flexible Character and Personality.
4. The right, positive Attitude and Attention to detail for Sales.
5. Great Written, Oral and Body Language Communication Skills and Style.
6. Ability to work under positive pressure, tight timelines and deadlines
7. Understanding of the NMG-U Purpose. Vision & Values.
8. Love for Research and Reading on Clients Markets, Sectors, Seasons, Trends.
9. High Creativity, Initiative, Innovation and Imagination levels.
10. Skills in ICT, Digital, Computer, Design,
11. Pitching and writing.
