KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and maintain monitoring systems, tools, and processes to track project performance against indicators and expected results.
• Conduct regular field visits to monitor project interventions and produce timely, accurate reports.
• Manage and maintain data in a secure and accessible way for reporting and decision-making.
• Support internal and external evaluations, including baseline, end-line, mid-term, final, and impact assessments.
• Facilitate regular performance review and learning sessions with staff and stakeholders to track progress and implement follow-up actions.
• Capture, document, and disseminate lessons learned, best practices, case studies, and innovative approaches to support organisational learning and replication
• Ensure gender and inclusion are embedded in monitoring, evaluation, and learning processes.
• Analyse data from monitoring activities and communicate findings to inform decision-making and adaptive management.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
• Minimum postgraduate diploma in Monitoring & Evaluation, Research & Statistics, Economics, Social Sciences, Engineering, Business, or another relevant field.
• At least five years of professional experience in planning, monitoring, and evaluation, preferably within an organisation with a strong MEL focus.
• Strong technical experience in developing and implementing MEL systems, including quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis.
• Experience using indicators at output, outcome, and goal levels, and developing tools to measure them.
• Proven experience in data quality assurance, performance reviews, and generating actionable insights for decision-making.
• Experience integrating gender and inclusion into project design and MEL processes.
• Track record in capturing organisational learning and promoting its practical application.
• Experience in capacity building, providing technical guidance, and facilitating learning for partners and project teams.
• Demonstrated ability to analyse complex data and present findings clearly to a variety of audiences.
• Proficiency in Power BI, database applications, and Microsoft Office for programme monitoring and reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide practical operational solutions.
