• Support the team by providing medical input into the assessment of all new patients at HAU and offer advice where necessary. • Assist the HAU Team with medical knowledge appropriate to end-of-life care and other conditions. • Work as an essential part of the clinical team, focusing particularly on the most difficult cases. • Participate in writing and publishing Palliative Care research and papers to disseminate information about African Palliative Care. • Provide strategic direction on clinical matters and serve as a member of the Senior Management Team. • Develop and implement clinical department work plans, document best practices, and establish department policies and procedures. • Audit the performance of the clinical department against planned activities and outcomes. • Report on the clinical department’s strategy and work plans. • Develop and manage the clinical department budget. • Support, supervise, and review the performance of medical teams.

• Master’s degree in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, or Family Medicine • Experience in Palliative Care is an added advantage
