• Evaluate and assess current drilling practices to ensure optimal • performance. • Conduct training sessions for drillers, assistant drillers, and tool pushers on • critical drilling topics, including stuck pipe, loss management, pack off, • connections, gain, ballooning, and all other technical areas • Develop and implement assessment forms tailored to evaluate each well • related issue effectively. • After an initial evaluation, analyze major technical incidents at Tilenga, • preparing Root Cause Analysis (REX) reports. • Design and lead exercises for skill development, followed by assessments • using REX on paper. • Prepare and perform hands-on assessments on the rig floor to ensure • practical application of drilling techniques. • Create and execute technical drills for each specific drilling problem, • reinforcing practical problem-solving abilities. • Emphasize and reinforce fundamental good practices in drilling • operations, such as starting pumps, conducting flow checks, and • interpreting key drilling parameters. • Review job preparation processes and provide feedback for • improvement. • Assess and review internal organization, roles, and responsibilities, ensuring • clarity and accountability. • Evaluate communication skills within the drilling team to enhance • collaboration and efficiency. • Lead debriefs sessions while providing recommendations to optimize team • performance and organizational efficiency.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field. • Minimum of 15 years of experience in the drilling industry, with a • background as a Company Man, Rig Manager, or Senior Tool Pusher. • Proficiency in both professional English and Chinese is essential. • Supervisory-level certifications in Fire Fighting, First Aid, H2S, and HSE. • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all • levels, fostering a cooperative and constructive work environment with • diverse disciplines and personalities.
