Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Cold Rolling Shift In-Charge with strong hands-on expertise in 6-Hi Cold Rolling Mill operations.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Key Requirements:

•  10+ years experience in Cold Rolling Mills
• Mandatory exposure to 6-Hi Mill operations
• Proven capability in shift handling, manpower supervision, and shop-floor leadership

 

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

 

Technical Scope:

• End-to-end supervision of 6-Hi mill shift operations
• Control of thickness, flatness, crown, and strip profile
• Optimization of rolling force, speed, tension, lubrication & coolant systems
• Roll changing, mill setup, and trial rolling
  Defect analysis & reduction
  (shape defects, edge cracks, chatter, scratches)
• Coordination with maintenance, quality & production planning teams
• KPI-driven performance: productivity, yield, quality & safety
