Job Vacancy: Cost Controller

Job Summary

The Assistant Cost Controller is responsible for assisting in Cost Control Services including but not limited to those of cost estimating, budget control, cost forecasting, cost reporting and cost risk analysis according to the guidelines established by Marriott SOPs and SOPs.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & BUSINESS RESULTS

• Responsible for the inventory and stock taking of various stores on month end.
• Responsible for spot checks inventories in various stores with a minimum frequency of two times a month.
• Recipe costing of new menus with the help of F&B team and suggest sales prices.
• Update existing recipes with current purchase prices if there are any changes.
• Update the Material Control system with new beverage recipes to deduct the consumption from Micros Symphony interface.
• Verify spoilage reports and report for corrective action.
• Do spot check on short expiry items and inform F&B team.
• Do spot check on Club Lounge beverage consumption and inventory.
• To perform yield test of meat and fish with the help of F&B Kitchen team.
• To do costing on all special events and advise the management whether it is profitable or not.
• To make monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly Food & Beverage revenues and cost analysis e.t.c
