Role Purpose

The Creative Assistant is responsible for developing visually compelling and brand-aligned creative materials that support marketing, customer engagement, and business growth. The role focuses on translating business and marketing objectives into impactful visual designs across digital and offline platforms. The Creative Designer plays a key role in strengthening Ecowater’s brand identity, ensuring consistency, creativity, and high-quality visual communication across all touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Design and Content Development.
Design high-quality visual content including graphics, posters, banners, social media creatives, and marketing materials.
Develop creative concepts aligned with campaign objectives and brand guidelines.
Produce both digital and print-ready designs.

Brand Identity and Consistency
Ensure all designs are consistent with Ecowater’s brand identity, tone, and visual standards.
Maintain and evolve brand guidelines where necessary.
Support the development of a strong and recognizable brand presence.

Campaign and Marketing Support.
Collaborate with the Business Development and Digital Content teams to support campaigns and promotions.
Design materials for product launches, activations, and partnerships.
Support growth initiatives through creative storytelling and visuals.
Create, schedule and post engaging content across different social media platforms.
Respond to comments, messages and online inquiries.
Support the development and implementation of social media campaigns and marketing activities.
Monitor social media trends and suggest creative content ideas.
Assist in taking and editing photos and videos for social media and marketing purposes.
Ensure that all digital content is consistent with the company’s brand identity and communication standards.

Digital and Social Media Support
Create engaging visual assets for social media platforms and digital campaigns.
Manage and maintain the company’s social media accounts.
Optimize designs for different platforms and formats.

Print and Production Management
Prepare designs for printing including flyers, banners, signage, and branded materials.
Liaise with vendors and printers to ensure quality output.
Ensure timely delivery of materials for field and operational use.
Innovation and Creative Direction

Stay updated with design trends and continuously introduce fresh creative ideas.
Contribute to the overall creative direction of campaigns and brand communication.
Propose innovative ways to enhance visual engagement and brand impact.

Collaboration with Internal Teams.
Work closely with Business Development team (for campaigns and promotions), Digital Content Officers (for content alignment and execution), Customer Experience teams (for customer-facing materials)
Support cross-functional initiatives requiring design input.

Reporting Line

Reports directly to the Creatives Lead
Works closely with Digital Content Officers (for content creation and execution), Business Development Managers and Associates (for campaign support), External vendors (for printing and production).

Profile and Requirements

Experience
A recent graduate with a Diploma or bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Marketing, Communications, Mass Communication, Digital Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
Strong portfolio demonstrating creative work across digital and print media.
Experience in marketing or brand-focused environments is an added advantage.

Skills and Competencies
Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, or similar).
Strong visual design and layout skills.
Creativity with attention to detail.
Ability to translate ideas into impactful visuals.
Good understanding of branding and marketing principles.
