Donswift Company is hiring a Custodian for a hostel in Tororo
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Collect hostel fees from students and ensure full payment is achieved for all occupants.
• Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and general hygiene of the hostel premises to promote a healthy living environment.
• Safeguard hostel assets and property, monitor access, and perform basic security-related duties.
• Report any major damages or maintenance issues and supervise repair work when necessary.
• Maintain accurate financial records by recording receipts, managing custody accounts, and filing hostel payment records.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
• Minimum of UACE equivalent.
• Basic bookkeeping or record-keeping skills are an added advantage.
• Previous experience in a custodial, hostel management, or administrative support role is desirable.
• High level of integrity and accountability
• Attention to detail and good organizational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Trustworthiness in handling funds and property
