We are seeking an Electrical Technician with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in the electrical field to support our growing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in electrical systems and the ability to maintain, repair, and troubleshoot electrical installations efficiently. A proactive approach, attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols are essential for success in this role.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and identify effective solutions to minimize downtime.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical systems.
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations and standards for all electrical work.
• Collaborate with the team to design, modify, or upgrade electrical systems.
• Provide support for electrical projects, including installation and commissioning of new systems.
• Complete electrical wiring diagrams, reports, and necessary documentation.
• Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and provide timely solutions.
• Maintain and calibrate electrical testing equipment and tools.
• Assist in training junior technicians and provide technical guidance as needed.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with industry regulations and quality standards.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Must be registered with the Electricity Regulatory Authority (ERA).
• Hold a valid Class C Electrical Permit.
• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in electrical systems, installations, and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards and regulations.
• Proficiency in using electrical testing and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to work under pressure and effectively manage multiple tasks.
• A proactive and flexible approach to work.
• Experience with renewable energy systems and technologies.
• Knowledge of automation and control systems.
• Familiarity with electrical software tools for system design and diagnostics.
