• Inspect, repair, and maintain electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, sockets, panels, and kitchen and HVAC equipment. • Respond promptly to guest and staff maintenance requests related to electrical issues. • Carry out preventive maintenance as per the schedule and maintain records of all maintenance tasks. • Troubleshoot malfunctioning systems and recommend necessary repairs or replacements. • Ensure all electrical installations are up to code and comply with safety regulations. • Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure efficient hotel operations. • Maintain an organized inventory of electrical supplies and tools. • Coordinate with external contractors when necessary and supervise outsourced electrical work. • Participate in energy-saving initiatives and sustainability programs. • Provide support during events, functions, or emergencies requiring temporary power setups. • Ensure minimal disruption to guest experience during maintenance tasks.

• Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering or related field. • Valid electrician license or certification recognized in Uganda. • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an electrician, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment. • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, safety codes, and troubleshooting techniques. • Experience working with high-voltage systems and hotel equipment (generators, elevators, HVAC). • Familiarity with BMS (Building Management Systems) is a plus. • Key Competencies: • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations. • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • Professional appearance and conduct. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
