ENGINEER _ MECHANICAL – 10 POSITIONS
DUTY STATION: NWSC Upcountry Areas
REPORTS TO: Area / Branch Manager
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare and supervise the preparation of mechanical engineering designs, drawings, specifications, schedules, quantities, cost estimates and activities for installation and maintenance works.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY RESULT AREAS
1) Organize and execute Planned Maintenance of electrical plants and equipment in all Areas of the Corporation.
2) Maintain an up-date inventory of electrical plants and equipment.
3) Plan daily/weekly/monthly work schedules, sanction job cards.
4) Carry out inspection of static plants equipment to establish repair needs.
5) Maintain up-to-date maintenance records and initiate appropriate action to maintain all electrical plants/equipment in good condition.
6) Identify and verify spares requirements.
7) Plan and execute the installation of new equipment and plants.
8) Respond quickly to all mechanical breakdowns in the plants.
9) Actively participate in multi-disciplinary team activities.
10) Carry out Bi-annual condition Assessment of mechanical equipment and professionally and advise on the need interventions.
11) Provide leadership and Technical backup to the maintenance section on all assigned tasks.
12) Carry out any other duties as shall be assigned to you accordingly.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
In order to be considered for this position, the applicant must have worked for at least one (01) year and should possess the following:
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & EDUCATION/TRAINING
3) Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University / institution.
• Computer skills in MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-Project and internet applications
4) Experience and Age
• At least one (1) year relevant working experience
• Age Limit: Below 30 years of age

• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills with the ability to listen and identify
solutions to problems.
