• Implement and maintain high quality culinary standards throughout the hotel restaurants and cafe • Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations regarding health and safety requirements • Maintaining and establishing relationships with service providers to ensure product quality • Work together with management to curate innovative and sensational dishes/menus taking into account factors such as seasonal availability, number of customers, special functions etc. • Handle and teach preparation and other culinary skills in line with well-defined recipes • Consistently monitor and improve the establishment’s kitchen and its culinary services • Managing and leading the kitchen team, planning menus , handling staff trainings and monitoring food control plans closely. • Monitoring and controlling kitchen costs and stock levels to maximise profitability

• Culinary school diploma/qualification preferred • A minimum of 4 years experience in the culinary field with experience as Head chef or Kitchen manager in active establishments • Remain up to date with the evolving aspects of the culinary world and making positive contributions to the establishments kitchen • Ability to lead, motivate and train a working team • Fluency in English, knowledge of other languages is a plus • Good understanding of MS Office and Restaurant management softwares, POS systems
