JOB SUMMARY – Farm Caretaker (Poultry)

TUMU GLOBAL SUPPLIES (CROWN CHICKEN BRAND) is seeking an experienced Poultry Farm Caretaker to manage over 1,000 day-old chicks from arrival until they are ready for market.
Key Roles:
• Receive and properly brood day-old chicks
• Ensure proper feeding and clean water supply
• Monitor temperature, ventilation, and housing conditions
• Administer vaccines and medication as scheduled
• Observe flock health and report illness or unusual deaths
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and biosecurity
• Keep daily records of feed, growth, and mortality
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in poultry farming
• Experience managing chicks from day-old to market stage
• Ability to communicate in English or Luganda
• Knowledge of feeding programs and disease control
• Must be ready to start immediately
