Agilis Partners is hiring a dedicated Farm Machinery Supervisor to supervise machine operators, ensure proper use and maintenance of farm machinery, maintain records, and mentor junior staff to optimize farm operations.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Supervise and support machine operators to ensure proper input use and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of farm machinery, including fault reporting and repair follow-ups.
• Ensure cleanliness and functionality of machinery through regular inspections and jet-washing routines.
• Maintain detailed records of machine use, service intervals, and breakdowns.
• Ensure mechanics and operators generate thorough defect lists, report faults as quickly as possible as soon as they are identified.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working on large-scale farms (1,500+ ha).
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or related mechanical/agronomic role.
• Proficiency in English and Kiswahili is required.
• Work Environment
• Shift work with flexibility for evenings and weekends.
• Physically demanding tasks, including operating near machinery and in varying noise levels.
