Primary Objective

To safely operate company trucks and efficiently and on time transport goods to various destinations while maintaining high standards of safety, professionalism, and customer service.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

 

Education

• Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE/UACE) or relevant vocational training.

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience operating light, medium, or heavy trucks.

• Valid and clean Uganda driving license for the assigned vehicle class.

Language Skills

• Ability to communicate in English and/or Kiswahili (knowledge of local languages is an advantage).

Skills and Competencies

• Strong knowledge of road safety and traffic regulations.

• Ability to maneuver heavy vehicles safely in normal and emergency conditions.

• Good judgment and decision-making skills.

• High level of alertness and awareness of road conditions.

• Ability to manage time and delivery schedules effectively.

• Physically fit and medically capable of long-distance driving.
