• The following is typical of the duties a Landscape Gardener will be expected to perform. It is not necessarily exhaustive and other duties of a similar nature and level may be required from time to time: • Maintaining customers’ gardens and one off garden tidies • Mowing (with both informal and formal finishes) • Trimming hedges (with both informal and formal finishes) • Border and flower bed management • Leaf/rubbish clearing • Turfing • Planting • Working on landscaping projects • Assisting with ground work in relation to tree operations (suitable candidates may in time receive appropriate arboricultural training) • Hard and soft landscaping • Fencing • Decking • Slab laying • Wood working • Walling • Operating a chipper, mower, strimmer, stump grinder, pressure washer, digger, dumper and other machinery • Maintaining tools and machinery • Ensuring that all work is carried out in a safe and conscientious manner.
