• Minimum Academic Qualifications • · A Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or Bachelors Degree in Survey. • · Certificates in various GIS Systems and Applications • Experience • · Minimum of 4 year of experience in a GIS focused industry especially construction and energy sectors • · Familiarity with various computer programming, GIS and Topography software. • Competencies • · Strong GIS skills with two or more GIS packages • · Understanding mathematics and statistical analysis • · Strong Microsoft SQL server and related RDBMS user skills • · Good writing skills for reporting purposes • · A basic understanding of the concepts behind data management in a relational database • · Good IT technical skills. • Working Environment • The role involves both office-based and fieldwork tasks. The role involves working in varying weather conditions and requires adherence to strict safety standards when dealing with equipment. The position may also require after-hours work.
