ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Basket Advisory is launching a major Graduate Sales Trainee program recruiting 20 high-potential graduates for an intensive 6-month program to develop into skilled B2B sales professionals. You’ll sell comprehensive business solutions to manufacturers, distributors, and security companies across Uganda and East Africa, including payment solutions software, payroll outsourcing, and project management outsourcing services.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Sell payment solutions software, payroll outsourcing, and project management solutions to manufacturers, distributors, and security sector clients
• Master cold calling, lead qualification, and sales pipeline management through structured training
• Develop relationship-building skills with corporate decision-makers and C-suite stakeholders
• Deliver compelling product presentations and close deals while building confidence
• Manage daily sales activities: prospecting, follow-ups, CRM management, and deal closing
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
• University graduate (Bachelor’s degree) or final-year student
• Strong communication skills with fluent English
• Self-starter with hunger to learn and resilience
• Comfort with cold calling and face-to-face client interaction
• Spreadsheet and basic computer skills (CRM training provided)
ADDED ADVANTAGE
Experience selling software/payments solutions • Payroll or HR outsourcing sales background • Project management or consulting services experience • Manufacturing or distribution sector familiarity • Enterprise B2B sales background • Experience with security/logistics sectors
COMPENSATION
During 6-Month Training Program:
• Monthly Retainer: UGX 350,000
• Office Lunch provided daily
• Weekly Transport Facilitation
After Training (Permanent Role):
• Earn up to UGX 2,000,000+ per month
• Uncapped performance-based commission on deals closed
• Product certification and continued professional development
• Performance bonuses and incentive opportunities
