• New Business Development • Research and identify key sources of and trends in foundation support. • Conduct prospect research, supporting ongoing efforts by the Strategic Partnerships team and working to develop innovative methods to expand the funder pipeline. • Strategize and implement ways to make current prospect tracking and grants management more efficient. • Participate in funding strategy discussions. • Maintain and organize prospecting tools and databases. • Grants Management, Writing, and Reporting • Expand foundation funding, in partnership with the Grants Manager and other team members. • Support the Grants Manager in drafting content for grant applications, reports, and letters of inquiry, as well as other materials for funders. • Independently manage the conception, writing, and preparation of proposals and reports for a small portfolio of institutional donors in the $50,000 range. • Assist the Grants Manager in organizing files, updating information in Salesforce, and building deliverable trackers. • Other • Draft briefing papers for Strategic Partnerships team members and organizational leadership. • Document meeting summaries. • Assist with other fundraising projects as requested.
