• Organisational Leadership and Management: • Oversee the organisation’s overall operations, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of programmes and services. • Implement and monitor strategic plans to achieve organisational goals and objectives. • Foster a positive and inclusive work culture that promotes teamwork and high performance. • Human Resources and Team Development: oversees hires, develops and motivates staff. • Operational Oversight and Management: • Provide oversight of the organisation’s operational functions, including programme development, implementation, human resources, and facilities management. • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. • Monitor and evaluate programme performance, providing recommendations for improvement. • Financial Oversight: • Work closely with the finance team to ensure the organisation’s financial health and sustainability. • Review and authorise financial reports and budgets to identify trends and areas for improvement. • Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration: • Collaborates with the CEO and the board of directors, providing regular updates and seeking their guidance. • Co-create the organisation’s long-term vision with the board. • Represent the organisation at external events and conferences. • Advocate for the organisation’s mission and work. • Monitoring, Evaluation, Analysis, and Learning: • Provide oversight of the organisation’s monitoring and evaluation framework. • Analyse data to assess programme effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. • Identifies and manages risks, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance. • Addresses any ethical or operational challenges. • Ensure that lessons learned are incorporated into future programme planning and implementation.

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in management, with a strong background in finance and operations. • Proven track record of successful leadership and management in a complex organisation. • Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment. • Additional Skills: • Experience in programme development and implementation. • Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation methodologies. • Strong understanding of issues related to child development and education.
