Job Summary:

The HR Graduate Trainee will be responsible for supporting the Human Resources team in the delivery of advisory and administrative services to both internal operations and external clients. This role is designed for a recent graduate eager to gain hands-on experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and HR compliance within a dynamic consulting environment. The trainee will assist in the execution of recruitment processes, HR documentation, and client support initiatives.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support the full recruitment lifecycle, including drafting job advertisements, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of employee files, contracts, and HR documentation in compliance with labor laws and company policies.
• Participate in the onboarding and induction process for new hires, ensuring a smooth integration into client organizations.
• Conduct research and prepare reports on HR best practices, labor legislation, and industry trends to support client advisory services.
• Assist in organizing training sessions, workshops, and performance review processes for clients and internal staff.
• Maintain and update the HR database and applicant tracking systems with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Respond to employee and client inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures in a professional and timely manner.
• Support the HR team in developing and implementing employee engagement initiatives.
• Collaborate with consultants to prepare presentations and proposals for prospective clients.
• Provide administrative support to the HR department, including minute-taking during meetings and managing correspondence.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• No prior experience required; however, internships or volunteer work in HR or administration are an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of basic HR principles and labor laws.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with HRIS systems is a plus.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask.
• A proactive and eager-to-learn attitude with a passion for people management and consulting.
