Job Purpose

Responsible for performing production work in factories. Stars, operates, tends, stops, and cleans machines. Assembles finished product and inspects products to ensure high quality.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for starting up and stopping equipment.
Assists with production lines in the factory.
Keeps machines clean.
Responsible for daily and weekly care of machine with maintenance team.
Responsible for loading and unloading PET, HDPE and Master batch.
Checks to ensure that all caps and preforms are as per standards
Checks to ensure that all products are packed as per standards
Feeds or places items onto equipment for processing.
Lubricates machines and keeps record of it.
Ensures conformance to specifications.
Marks parts for identification.
Scraps waste material from machine.
Reads and interprets gauges.
Takes instructions from supervisors.
Reports any abnormalities in machines.
Performs any other task as per management request.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

A minimum of a diploma ’s degree in mechanical & electrical engineering from a reputable university.
A minimum of 1-year experience in a similar role in a busy environment.
Husky Machine Experience is Mandatory.

Key Requirements:

Familiar with Carbonated Soft Drinks and/or water treatment plant.
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
