KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Instrumentation Maintenance Operations:
• Perform robust troubleshooting, maintenance, and high-precision repairs of instrumentation failures in the plant.
• Record anomalies observed during maintenance or daily checks.
• Analyze equipment failures, recommend corrective actions, and perform post-maintenance equipment trials.
• Ensure readiness to address emergencies or urgent breakdowns efficiently.
• Execute weekly work orders per preventive maintenance plans or scheduled corrective actions.
• Contribute to developing job plans for maintenance activities.
• Propose and implement cost-reduction initiatives to extend instrument lifespan.
• Conduct equipment checks and generate feedback reports.
• Collaborate with shift leads on maintenance activities for crushers, ball mills, vertical roller mills, kilns, and cement packers.
• Planning and Cost Control:
• Support the Automation and Instrumentation Engineer in managing the maintenance budget, ensuring effective planning and cost control to meet or exceed targets for assigned equipment.
• Standards:
• Comply with regulations, company goals, rules, local permits, policies, and procedures to optimize internal processes.
• Adhere to Maintenance Management System (MMS) standards and achieve weekly MAC scheduling compliance targets.
• OH&S and Environment:
• Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) and environmental policies to achieve zero harm.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
• Educational Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 4 years’ experience in production or maintenance, preferably in heavy industry.
• Experience applying Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) techniques and knowledge of basic problem-solving tools.
• Other Requirements:
• Knowledge of cement production processes.
• Strong expertise in field instrumentation equipment maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in industrial installations, wiring, PLC theory, maintenance, programming, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with fiber optic systems and uninterrupted power systems maintenance.
• Knowledge of Maintenance Management System (MMS), ACS, PMA, RCFA Solve, and cost basics.
• Profile & Personal Qualities:
