JOB TITLE: Junior Accountant

JOB SUMMARY
The Junior Accountant supports the Finance team by performing daily accounting tasks, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with internal procedures and statutory requirements. Operating within a fast-paced FMCG distribution environment, the Junior Accountant focuses on transaction posting, reconciliations, documentation management, and supporting senior finance personnel in preparation of financial schedules and audit requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

 

 Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
 Preferably progressing toward a professional qualification (ACCA, CPA).
 1–2 years’ experience in accounting, preferably in FMCG, distribution, or logistics.
 Basic understanding of IFRS and bookkeeping principles.
 Proficiency in accounting systems/ERPs and Microsoft Excel.
 Strong willingness to learn and grow.
KEY COMPETENCIES
 High attention to detail and accuracy.
 Strong analytical and numerical skills.
 Ability to handle large transaction volumes typical in FMCG.
 Strong organizational and documentation skills.
 Integrity, confidentiality, and strong ethical conduct.
