MINISTRY OF EDUCATION AND SPORTS CHINA MOFCOM SCHOLARSHIP FOR

2026/2027 ACADEMIC YEAR

Applications are invited from suitably qualified Ugandan scholars to pursue studies at post graduate level in Chinese Universities under MOFCOM program for 2026/2027 Academic Year.

FIELDS OF STUDY

PhD Level

1. National Development Studies – 2 slots

Master Level

1. Environmental Engineering – 01 slot

2. Electrical Engineering – 01 slot

3. Public Health – 02 slots

4. Industrial and Engineering Management – 01 slot

5. International and Executive Business Administration – 01 slot

6. Traffic and Transportation Engineering – 02 slots

7. Artificial Intelligence – 02 slots

8. Tourism and Hotel Management – 01 slot

9. Software Engineering – 01 slot

Eligibility

1. Applicants for PhD should hold a master degree in the relevant field
2. Applicants for Masters should hold a first degree in the relevant field
3. Applicants with foreign qualifications MUST have their academic documents EQUATED by the National Council for Higher Education.
4. Applicants for Masters programmes must have at least three years work experience in the relevant field.
5. Applicant should be below 45 years of age at the time of applications
6. Applicant should be physically and mentally fit to study overseas.
7. Applicants already studying from China or on anyScholarship programme need not apply.

All applicants must submit a printed copy of the online applications together with Application letter with a recent passport photograph, indicating age, sex, programme of study, home district, telephone contact, email address, work experience, photocopies of academic documents, professional certificates including the biodata page of the Biometric Passport addressed to:
