Role Overview
The Motel Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations and commercial performance of Rosewood Motel. The role combines hospitality management with practical sales and marketing ability. The Manager will coordinate departments, maintain service standards, drive bookings and revenue, and work closely with marketing to turn Rosewood’s experiences into business.

Key Responsibilities
 Oversee daily operations across accommodation, restaurant and bar, housekeeping, front office and spa.
 Maintain consistent guest service, cleanliness, presentation and operational standards.
 Monitor reservations, room occupancy, enquiries and booking conversions.
 Actively drive accommodation, dining and wellness sales through packages, follow-ups and business relationships.
 Work with the marketing team on campaigns, content, offers and customer enquiries.
 Identify opportunities for corporate bookings, groups, partnerships and repeat business.
 Supervise staff, schedules, performance and inter-departmental coordination.
 Monitor sales, stock, wastage and key operating costs.
 Handle important guest concerns and ensure service issues are resolved quickly.
 Report on performance and recommend practical improvements to management.

Requirements
 Diploma or degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or a related field.
 Previous experience managing a hotel, motel, lodge, restaurant or similar hospitality operation.
 Strong sales, customer service and communication skills.
 Practical understanding of digital and social media marketing.
 Ability to lead staff, solve problems and manage multiple priorities.
 Commercial awareness and a strong focus on guest experience.

Preferred
 Experience in a boutique hotel, motel or lifestyle hospitality environment.
 Experience developing hospitality packages or customer experiences.
 Existing relationships with corporate clients or local businesses.
