• Provide standard care to patients and perform daily nursing duties as allocated by the Supervisor, including but not limited to attending appointments and working with isolated patients. • Ensure that clinical issues are promptly resolved, prioritising what is best for the health and well-being of the patients within the facility. • Ensure that Infections are identified and contained early, and clear instructions given about pertinent infection control. • Maintain up-to-date medical records and provide clinical updates regarding patients to the Supervisor. • Participate in health programmes within and outside Watoto as and when a need arises. • Educate patients and families about medical conditions and treatment plans

• The applicant for the role should hold at least a Diploma in Nursing from a reputable institution. • Must be a registered Nurse with the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council. • At least two years’ experience in nursing in a school setting. • Possess. good inter-personal skills such as empathy and compassion when dealing with patients • Knowledge of basic computer software. • Passionate about community health care with ability to work effectively within a team environment. • Commitment to working within standardized guidelines of Nursing care. • Willing to work in any of the Watoto village clinics.
