• Operates Equipment in a safe and careful manner: This includes running, manoeuvring, navigating, and driving. • Carries out daily inspections on the equipment structures and materials during every operation and movement. • Identifies causes of errors and other problems or defects on equipment if any. • Completes all data entry requirements as requested by site supervisor i.e. fuelling, mileage recording and signing of the gate passes and check lists • Immediately informs site supervisor of any problems, necessary maintenance, or necessary repairs to the equipment both verbally and in writing, in both the equipment Checking-book and on the daily check list. • Keeps the equipment clean and neat and stores all accessories in their correct place • Responsible for own and other employees health and safety at the workplace • Ensures proper hand over of the equipment while leaving site. • Takes over the equipment on reporting to site by ensuring everything is okay and reporting immediately any discrepancies to the supervisor for follow up. • May be called upon to do other duties when the equipment is not operational as directed by the site supervisor.

• Academic and Certificate Qualifications • Valid driver/Operator’s license relevant to the equipment. • Suitability test for the Specific equipment. • Defensive driving trained. • Minimum Education level Ordinary Level/S.4 • Minimum Experience Required • Five years’ experience in operating the specific equipment. • Minimum Age 25 yrs.
