The Packaging officer is responsible for, performing manual tasks (weighing, packing, counting, verifying and conducting quality checks to ensure compliance with company standards.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Packaging Process:
• Execute tasks in the packaging process, including product feeding, labeling, sealing, and packing of products.
• Ensure products are packaged in compliance with company standards, following specifications and quality guidelines.
• Perform quality control checks throughout the packaging process, including verifying labeling, seal integrity, weight checks, and product count.
• Quality Assurance and Documentation:
• Maintain accurate records of production, including counts, weights, and any quality deviations.
• Adhere to quality control processes and report any discrepancies or quality issues.
• Document activities according to company standards for record-keeping and traceability.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Follow all safety guidelines and ensure a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to hygiene practices as required by the industry.
• Comply with all regulatory requirements, including GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) if applicable.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
• Certificate/ diploma in any related field
• At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment.
• Experience in a fast-paced production or warehouse setting is advantageous.
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision and meet production targets.
• Strong attention to detail to detect and prevent quality issues.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and accessing production systems.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and handle repetitive tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends or overtime, based on production demands.
