KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepare a range of pastries, cakes, and desserts for daily menus and special requests.
• Innovate with local ingredients (e.g., Ugandan honey, bananas) to create unique offerings.
• Maintain a clean, organized baking station under tight schedules.
• Collaborate with the Sous Chef to align desserts with main courses.
• Manage pastry supplies, minimizing waste in a remote setting.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
• Formal pastry training or 2+ years of experience in baking.
• Adaptability—Bwindi’s supply constraints require flexibility (e.g., no fancy imports).
• Eye for detail and passion for delighting guests with every bite.
