Radiologist

 

Job Summary:

Lubaga Hospital is seeking a qualified and experienced Radiologist to join our healthcare team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting diagnostic imaging studies, providing accurate reports, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret and report on X-rays, CT scans, ultrasound examinations, and other imaging procedures.

• Provide timely and accurate diagnostic reports.

• Consult with referring physicians regarding imaging findings and patient management.

• Ensure compliance with radiation safety and quality assurance standards.

• Supervise radiography staff and support continuous professional development.

• Participate in departmental meetings, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.

• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Regulatory Requirements:

• Master of Medicine (MMed) in Radiology or equivalent specialist qualification.

• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) or equivalent medical degree.

• Registration with Dental and Medical Practitioners Council.

• Valid practicing license.

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Radiologist (preferred).

• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in modern radiology equipment and imaging software.
