• Lead bid / proposal sessions • Support the Bid / Proposal process in developing a proposal structure • Identify and re-work existing pre-written content where relevant • Deliver completed written proposal responses to the Proposal Manager against agreed RFP deadlines, escalating issues as required • Re-write / edit proposal responses from a variety of stakeholders, typically involving contributions from sales, marketing, technical / product teams, finance, commercial, legal and delivery • Present all new proposal content to the knowledgebase manager for potential re-use

• The ideal candidate should ideally be holding a similar role in the contract cleaning industry • Prior contract cleaning or allied service background • Excellent track record in winning new business through bidding process • Prior skills and experience in producing and editing proposal content within a complex business environment. • The proposal writer should be experienced in leading storyboarding sessions, participating in key review meetings / final document review, content sign off and document production. • Previous experience of coordinating and updating a knowledge base system is beneficial. A deep understanding of the bid tendering process in Uganda is vital. • Previous exposure and experience in winning new business and contract costings • Computer literate and able to present at management level • Highly sales-driven, Enthusiastic with the ambition to seize every opportunity • Ability to coach sales teams and subject matter experts in writing best practice • Prior proposal automation software (or similar) experience • Ability to communicate and influence at a senior level • Strong time management / prioritization skills • Strong written English language skills • Keen attention to detail.
