• Overall site management of all site construction activities associated with the project. • Ensure correct implementation of engineering on site in accordance with drawings and specifications. • Assist with Implementation and Maintaining the OHS Act 85 of 1993, 18001 and ISO 14001. • Development of Subcontractors and Suppliers • Coordinate commissioning activities in conjunction with the Sub-contractor, commissioning staff and Customer. • Compilation of Data Books, QCP’S and Turn Over documentation as required by Customer. • Assist in conducting Internal and External audit for quality and reporting purposes. • Supervision of site erection subcontractors installing High Voltage AIS Switch gear as well as protection and control equipment and cabling. • Coordinate the subcontractors on site. • Prepare and organize the subcontractors and equipment for site work execution. • Coordinate the site work in order to optimize the project costs • Report to the Project Manager all events on site. – Timely preparation of comprehensive site diaries. • Assist the project manager and sales on the scheduling of projects and resources planning. • Supervise contractors and assure adherence to Siemens procedures and methodologies. • Monitor the safety, health and environment conditions of the site activities • Training on site of new resources or partners. • Receiving of High Voltage equipment on site

• National Diploma in Engineering. • Beneficial Educational Requirement: ISO 19001, ISO 14001 and ISO 18001 • 5 to 10 years working experience in High Voltage substation installations at 132kV (up to 400kV not essential) • Health and safety training (Hira, First Aid, Fire Fighting) • HV regs training (recommended) Computer literate, familiar with Windows and MS Office, especially MS Project. • Communication capacity with Customers and Business Partners • Cooperation with Multicultural Staff / Organization in various Locations • Experience • Minimum 10 years’ experience within projects • Minimum 10 years’ experience and exposure to high voltage substation construction • Knowledge in Construction, Installation and commissioning activities for high voltage substations up to 132kV • Civil works construction activities for high voltage substations up to 132k • Corporate Compliance. • Legal Liability.
