KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist in menu planning and food preparation, balancing taste and presentation.
• Supervise kitchen staff during meal services, ensuring timely delivery in a high-pressure setting.
• Manage food inventory and adapt recipes to available local ingredients (e.g., produce from nearby villages).
• Maintain hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen.
• Step in as Head Chef when needed, ensuring consistency for guests.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
• Culinary training or 3+ years of kitchen experience, with supervisory skills.
• Creativity with Ugandan and international dishes—experience with farm-to-table cooking is a bonus.
• Ability to work long hours in a remote location with basic facilities.
