• Assist and support the Manager, Tax and Regulatory Reporting with all reporting requirements to regulatory bodies. • Assist in liaison with external tax advisors and or legal consultants on complex tax matters to ensure sufficient and effective results. • Confer with BUs as required, to confirm all taxes have been covered before payments are made, e.g. HC. • Build and maintain good relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. • Create awareness of changes in tax law and the implications of such changes to internal stakeholders to ensure compliance is maintained. • Calculate the tax figures for budget. • Monitor and proactively provide advice on adverse tax variances to business units. Apply proper compliance on tax advice in terms of SLA’s among Stanlib and Liberty as support services. • Prepare monthly tax computation, tax information pack, commentary and payment schedules for the Bank to ensure relevant compliance with regulations and laws.
