• Transportation and Safety: • Transporting the company staff as assigned at all times. • Ensuring safety of staff at all times. • Ensuring use of seat belt at all times. • Ensuring proper communication procedures and checking vehicle for roadworthiness prior to undertaking any trip. • Vehicle Maintenance: • Maintaining the vehicles allocated in sound mechanical condition. • Ensure the vehicle is washed and kept clean at all times. • Ensuring the vehicle is fueled and serviced promptly. • Report any faults/breakdown and accidents imminently to the supervisor. • Ensure the first aid kits, tools, and spares are kept in place and in good condition. • Road test and certify the vehicle on return from the garage. • Record Keeping: • Ensure that the vehicle has log sheets and pens. • Maintain accurate vehicle records to ensure that all trips, fuel fill-ups, time, and mileage readings are recorded. • Ensure that fuel, transport, and service forms are filled. • Submit all vehicle log sheets on a monthly basis to the senior administration officer. • Maintain and complete vehicle job cards for repairs and service. • Delivery: • Deliver official documents to their destinations and any other errands whenever called upon. • Vehicle Compliance: • Check on vehicle licenses and third party to ensure that the vehicle comprehensive insurance is valid. • Inform the supervisor two weeks in advance of renewals. • Additional Responsibility: • The employee may also be required to undertake additional duties or projects from time to time with their capabilities and consistent with the responsibilities of roles as directed by the employer.
