Weighbridge Operator

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Liaise with the control room and warehouse manager to be sure of saleable goods in
• the warehouse in DHP
• Maintain and monitor machine to make sure it functions properly
• Report promptly any incidence of overweight or under weight
• Liaise with Purchasing department to ensure only expected goods are weighted
• Checks and ensures weighing is done accurately
• Ensures only vehicle and goods are weighted without and hidden weights
• Report malfunctions and any anomalies in the function of the weighbridge
• Take note of calibration dates and ensures it is done on time
QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
• Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, Business Administration, and information technology or any other relevant degree;
• Relevant experience will be an added advantage
• Excellent interpersonal, particularly staff/management relation skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
